Congealed Ambrosia Salad
Ambrosia salad is a staple side dish that's been around for years. This recipe is super simple to make and always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Frozen Whipped Topping Thawed
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 cup Cottage Cheese
- 11 oz Canned Mandarin Oranges Drained
- 20 oz Pineapple Tidbits Drained
- 6 oz Orange Gelatin
- ½ cup Pecans Chopped
- ½ cup Coconut Flaked
Instructions
- Mix topping and vanilla together.
- Fold in cheese, oranges, and pineapple.
- Sprinkle dry gelatin over the mixture.
- Stir well.
- Spoon into a 13"x9"x2" dish.
- Combine pecans and coconut.
- Sprinkle over salad.
