Where do J.W. Renfroe Pecans come from?
Our pecans are 100% grown in the USA and sourced from orchards located in S.W. Georgia. Each season, the type of in-shell and shelled Pecans available may vary due to crop availability.
Does J.W. Renfroe Pecans crack or buy pecans?
We no longer crack pecans for the public or buy locally. At this time we recommend calling the Atmore Pecan Co. if you require any of those services.
How do I store pecans?
The best way to store pecans is in sealed plastic bags in the freezer. When storing in the refrigerator, use air tight containers. Pecans will absorb odors from other products that emit an odor. Pecans can be thawed and refrozen repeatedly without loss of flavor or texture. Pecans will stay fresh for:
- 3 weeks at room temperature
- 6 to 9 months in the refrigerator
- 2 years in the freezer.
How do I send my gift to multiple addresses?
Watch the video attached below to learn how to ship to multiple addresses! When you get to the checkout page, click on "Ship to Multiple Addresses." A window will pop-up, and you can input different addresses. If this is your first time using the new website, click on "Add New Address." From there, enter the first address you want to ship to and click "Save Address." Continue adding addresses until you're done. If you've checked out on our new website previously, click on "Type to search for existing address." From there, you'll see all of the previous addresses you've used to ship to on the website. After entering addresses, scroll to the items you ordered and assign addresses to each item. Then, click "Save Selections." Proceed to checkout as normal.
