Apricot Oatmeal Bars

Apricot Oatmeal Bars
Easy to prepare and designed to make a small amount, these squares are a marvelous blend of flavors. It's a dessert that can be stirred up in no time to satisfy a sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 1 - ½ cups Flour
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Baking Soda
- ½ cup Regular Oats
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Finely Chopped Pecans
- ¾ cup Butter Melted
- 12 oz Apricot Jam
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F
- Sift flour, salt ,and baking soda together
- Add sugar, oats, pecans, and melted butter
- Press 2/3 of the mixture into a 9" square pan
- Cover with jam
- Top with the remainder of the oatmeal mixture
- Pack gently
- Bake for 30 minutes (top should be browned)
