Southern Pecan Pie
Originating in Texas, Pecan Pie as we know it today became popularized in the 1940's and commonly associated with festivities such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other special occasions.
- 3 Eggs slightly beaten
- 1 cup Light karo syrup
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp Butter melted
- 1½ cups Renfroe's pecan pieces
- 1 Pastry Shell
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Mix all ingredients, blend well.
- Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
- Place in oven and bake for 50 to 55 minutes.
