Pecan Raisin Scones

We love fall just as much as you do, and we love celebrating with some easy fall dessert recipes. Try this pecan scone recipe mixed with some raisins just for that extra fall flavor.

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour

• 2 tsp. baking powder

• 2/3 cup sugar (or to taste)

• 1/3 cup butter, melted

• 1/2 cup raisins

• 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

• 2 eggs

• 1/2 cup sour cream

• 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar and butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.

3. In a separate bowl, blend together eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Stir into flour mixture until well blended (don't over mix - it should be lumpy). Stir in raisins and pecans.

4. Spread batter into a spring-form pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until it starts to brown. Allow to cool in pan. Cut into wedges.
