• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 6 eggs
• 3 cups flour
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. allspice
• 1 tsp. nutmeg
• 1 tsp. cloves
• 2 qt. chopped pecans
• 1 lb. crystallized pineapple
• 1 lb. candied cherries
• 1 cup whiskey
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Cream butter and sugar together thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating smooth after each addition. Sift together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating well.
3. Chop pecans, pineapple and cherries. Roll in just enough flour to coat. Add to dough along with whiskey.
4. Drop on a greased cookie sheet by teaspoons and bake about 18 minutes.
